Swimwear size guide
Every piece here is printed to order, which means all sales are final. The one thing that keeps a first order happy is picking the right size, so this page collects the real garment measurements and how to read them. It takes about two minutes with a soft tape measure, and it is the only homework the shop will ever assign.
Read the table right
The numbers below are the garment laid flat, in inches, from the manufacturer. Flat measurements can vary by up to an inch from piece to piece. A half waist of 14.17 inches is the fabric unstretched, side to side, so the full waistband is double that, about 28 inches.
Measuring for NanoShort
Measure your waist where the waistband will sit, usually just below the navel, and keep the tape snug but not tight. Compare that number to twice the half waist in the table. The trunks have an elastic drawstring waist, so if you sit between two sizes, pick the snugger fit or the looser one by how you like your swimwear to hold.

Measuring for NanoBikini
For the top, measure the fullest part of the bust; for the bottoms, the widest part of the hips. The table gives cup length, cup width, back width and bottom height, again as the garment laid flat. Between two sizes, most swimmers size up in the bottoms before they size up in the top, because the drawstring ties can be adjusted but fabric cannot be added.
